Shelley Silas is a British playwright. Born in Calcutta, India, her plays include Shrapnel, Falling, Calcutta Kosher, Mercy Fine and Eating Ice Cream on Gaza Beach. She was a 2002 winner of a Pearson Award and went on to be writer in residence at the Bush Theatre, London.
