Carter W. Lewis is the author of over thirty plays, which have been staged in over 150 productions. A two-time nominee for the American Theatre Critics Award, he is well known for Evie's Waltz and While We Were Bowling (which won several awards and grants). Lewis lives in Washington, where he is Playwright-in-Residence at Washington University in St. Louis, teaching Playwriting and Dramaturgy.
