Marcelo Dos Santos's play New Labour is a comedy drama about working in a call centre, zero hour contracts and the pursuit of fame. It was first performed at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, London, in November 2014.

The play is set in a North London call centre, amongst a group of graduates in their early twenties who dream of being elsewhere: Alice wants to be a singer, Liam wants to travel to South America, Rob wants to make a killing and Sally’s been there too long.

The premiere production was directed by Richard Wilson and designed by Mark Friend. It was performed by Caroline Moroney, Daniel O’Keefe, Faye Wilson, Freddie Meredith, Tamara Lawrence, Sean Delaney, Rupert Lazarus, Alice Robinson and Peter Mulligan.
