The Boston-based playwright Melinda Lopez is author of numerous prize-winning plays, including Caroline in Jersey, God Smells Like a Roast Pig and Sonia Flew, winner of the Elliot Norton Award for Best New Play and the IRNE (Independent Reviewers of New England) Awards for Best Play. She teaches playwrighting and theatre at Boston University an Wellesley College.
