Kenneth Lonergan's work on award-winning films such Gangs of New York, Analyse This and You Can Count On Me (which he wrote and directed) has earned him a big reputation in film. His plays, which include Lobby Hero and The Starry Messenger, have been produced in London's West End and on Broadway. He is a member of the New York-based theatre company the Naked Angels.
